Before my Block test begun, I was nervous about it. But on Wednesday 22.2.17, t got completed. I was thinking what to during holidays. With my friends we thought of C.I.D which meant for Children’s Independence Day. It signifies the freedom after our hard and tiring studies. We had to sit for our exams form 12 o’clock to 4.30 pm. But now we have the freedom to do anything we want. As i said earlier I decided my holiday routines. I wish we all are going to have a great holiday. Today, I am ending my diary here as I have run out of words. See you later on my next diary.
Date: 09-Dec-2016. Today I had lots of fun in my school. I and my friend invented a game called “Sebastian”. In this game everyone has to run around like hide and seek. Here the seeker has to catch one of the hiders and say “Sebastian” and add a color to it. Today the seeker caught me and said “Sebastian RED”. So i had to stand like a tortoise. Then one of my friends jumped over me and freed me. I also forgot to tell you that the hiders had to free the caught-ones by jumping over them or crawling under them according to the shape. I will end my dairy here. Hope you had a nice day.
Date: 28-Nov-2016. Today (Monday) was an usual day. We had ‘Bandh’. Everything was to be closed but our school was still open. Our school bus came late. As I boarded the bus I found it almost empty. After reaching school, I rushed to my classroom. I could count only thirty-five were present out of sixty-three. We were sitting scattered around the classroom. I failed to understand why so many people were absent, when everything was perfectly normal. I returned home feeling happy and confused. I hope everyday is ‘Bandh’ so that I can sit in the classroom with more space.
Date: 26-Nov-2016. It is my first diary i have ever written and i will tell you about one of my experiences. On Friday 25-11-16, I got up at 6 am. I had a trial organized by my school for a running competition in a stadium. I quickly got dressed in my uniform and set off at 7 am. When we reached my school it was 7:30 am. The school gate was not yet open. It had to opened at 8 am. As time ran by my friends came in.When it was finally 8 am the school gate was open. We all rushed inside. We were taken to our classrooms. After some time we boarded our school bus and set of for the stadium where the trials would be held. When we reached there we went inside. There were many shops such as Ice cream shops inside the stadium. We sat down on the grass. We were asked to divide ourselves into groups based on our houses and also divide among boys and girls. When it was the turn of Asutosh Mukherjee house, I walked at the starting point. We were six to compete. As the whistle blew, I ran off with full speed. When I reached the finishing line, i realized that I was the first to reach there. My teacher noted down my name as I had been selected for the finals. They told me that they would inform when the finals would be held and at what time. Then we were taken back to our school and again to our classes. We were dismissed at 11 a.m. It was one of my happiest moment in my life.
Bhangarh one of the most haunted destination fort built in the Rajasthan state of India during 17th-century. Man Singh I, one of the navratans of Akbar’s court built the fort for his younger brother Madho Singh I. Bhangarh claims to be one of the most haunted place in India.
People who visited the fort heard strange sounds and because of that a rumor is spread that spirits roam in Bhangarh Fort at night. There is also a smell is often experienced by the visitors. All the incidents are reported after the sun set. This fort is considered to be haunted, and no one is allowed to remain inside the fort at night. There is a notice board put up by the Archaeological Survey of India at the entrance that says visitors are not allowed during nights after the sun is set.
The fort has become one of the major tourist attraction and it does not have electricity. Surrounded by majestic hills of Aravali, the fort acts as a night shelter for different species of animals from the neighboring forests. Many ghost busters explain the sounds created by these wild animals in the fort as scary and evident enough to deny the occurrence of some paranormal activities. There is a Hanuman temple inside the fort just next to the main gate and several other temples that contradict with the idea that it houses supernatural powers.
Bhangarh is one of the spookiest places you could possibly imagine, not to mention, one of the most haunted places in India. Situated near a popular forest, this town is now attracting visitors from all over the country and also from abroad.
It should be noted that if you decide to visit this place after the sun has gone down, you won’t be allowed to. In fact, there is a strict warning about how dangerous this place becomes after sunset.
The story which this town is well-known for the tale of a magician who fell in love with the local princess of the area even though their match was impossible. Being quite the master of dark magic, he decided to cast a spell on her to make her surrender to him. However, the princess learned of his plans and found a way to kill him. Before his death, however, the magician cast a dark spell on the palace which caused its doom.
Despite Bhangarh Fort being regarded as one of the most horror haunted places in India has been officially promoted as a tourist destination. However, once the night falls and the darkness takes over, this place becomes deserted, leaving it prey to the supposed ‘supernatural’.
During the Second World War the British government built several Fortress islands in the North Sea to defend its coasts from German invaders. These forts were built illegally in international waters. The famous royal fort Roughs Tower situated slightly north of the Thames river and approximately at a distance of 7 nautical miles from the coast. That was more a distance of 3 mile range of territorial distance as per the then applicable law which in turn made it situated in the international waters of the North sea.
In the early 1950 the fort was abandoned to comply with the international law and then after in 1966 Roy Bates a former infantry major in the first battalion Royal Fusiliers decided to take over the fortress.
2nd September 1967, Roy declared The Principality of Sealand raising a newly designed flag and titled his wife “Princess Joan” along with his son Michael (14), daughter Penelope (16) and several friends and followers.
Sealand is not recognized by the other countries and In 1987, the UK extended its territorial waters from three to twelve miles. Sealand now sits inside waters that Britain claims as its territory though Michael Bates claims himself to be the prince of Sealand and they have their own stamps, national anthem, money, flag, and more things just like a real country.
Sealand is also granting titles like Lord, Lady, Baron or Baroness. You need to pay as low as £29.99 to become a Lord or Lady and also paying £19.99 can own a piece of Sealand territory. To own the title Count or Countess, one has to pay only £199.99.
Charity football match was also sometimes organised to raise money for good cause. One of such occasions when Fulham All Stars V Sealand All Stars match was organised.
Interestingly, At the beginning of 2007, the Bates put an ad in the newspaper. They would like to sell Sealand for 65 million pounds.

Richardson was walking in a sunny day. While walking he saw a line. It was for bungee, his favourite sport. He paid a ticket and went inside. After sometime, it was Richardson’s chance. A man tied a rope in Richardson’s leg. When he looked down, he saw a river because he was standing on a bridge. When he jumped, the rope broke! When he saw that he screamed ‘Ahhhh, Save me, Ahhh” and he fell into the river. He closed his eyes. The current took him in a place which he hardly knew. There were many mermaids. He claimed on an island to explore it. Richardson saw many funny little people. They were no bigger than three chilies put together. They were working in their garden. They had a mushroom like house. There was fresh air. The little people were scared by seeing Richardson. They started running. Richardson asked “Who are you? What is this place name? Answer me please, I am not going to hurt you” One of the men stopped, bowed to Richardson and said ‘Sir, this country’s name is Armello and island is Perf’ and walked away to his friend to tell that they could believe the giant (Richardson) everyone surrounded Richardson. Their king came and spoke to Richardson ‘hey you will have to get the golden giant to get back home. It is at the north.’ After this king’s speech, they ran out of the sight. On 13th February, Saturday, we went to Mandarmani. We were accompanied by family of my three friends – Shomudro, Dohinee and Atrisekhar. While going we lost our way. We looked for the way for hours. Finally, we found our friends waiting for us. In the meantime, while playing, accidentally Shomudro injured himself.
We stayed in a hotel named Marino Beach Resort for 2 days and 1 night. We booked 3 rooms. After reaching our hotel, went to our rooms, changed our clothes and went to the sea. On our way, we found a treasure, buried under the sands of the beach. We had fun splashing in the sea. We went back to our rooms. In the evening, we saw the sunset sitting by the sea beach. When it was dark we had a barbecue in the garden. All of us enjoyed and took part in he music that was played there. We played many games like kabbadi, fooball, badminton in the flood-light of the hotel. We invented a game which I named “slow-haating” (slow-walking).
The next morning we played with two rabbits. I named them Raju and Kaju. We played football again. After we had our breakfast, we went to the sea again. We jumped over the waves. I chopped the waves imagining them as a mischievous giant. Dohinee and I enjoyed floating in the water. Shomudro and Atrisekhar was splashing water at each other. We all had coconut water by the beach. Shomudro suddenly said that there was no “haansh” (duck) in the coconut. We all shouted “WHAT?” and then aunty (Shomudra’s mother) explained that it was “shaansh” (coconut meat) that he was talking about. Everyone loved the word “haansh inside coconut”. After having great time in the sea, we had our lunch and started back home. On our way back, we had snacks in a restaurant. It was a lovely trip and I will cherish it throughout my life. We will go back to Mandermani and hunt the treasure which we have marked.
One day I was sleeping alone. Then I got one touch. I was thinking what is that, why I had got a touch? When I turned right I saw a robot! The robot was telling that what happened? Moving his hands right, left, up, down and bottom side. Actually it was a Bengali robot!
When I was asked it “will you be my friend?”, the robot said “yes! But if you listen to me then I will be your friend”. I told “yes. Why not, but I am not sure”. The robot tells that you had told yes and so you have to listen to me really. When I was going to my school after that I saw he was sitting next to me. He was going there, too. I requested it to go out of my school and go home. “Donot disturb me”. He told that I will not go and be with you. I told him okay but please be invisible if you be with me.
Then my daddy came from home, he saw I was talking with someone. He said that with whom are you talking? No one is there. The robot started telling something in my ear. My Daddy told that why are you doing like this. The robot was showing his blue hand. My daddy asked that, “what is this? Toy or a robot in your room?” I told yes papa, I am having a robot. He came away from my window. He told me okay and he went home.
Next day was Laxmi Puja. My robot had turned like my father. When I saw him I told him why have you done that? The robot told it is fine and I told “okay”. When I was sitting in Laxmi puja with my robot, father and friends was sitting with me too. When I was taking picture with my friends, the robot was hitting in my back. When the picture was taken I went to my room. Suddenly there was a push and I saw myself in bed.
Last Sunday, I went to a picnic with my family and friends. It was a place called Kanak Garden. We went there in our own car.
On the way we picked up one of our friend and his family. When we reached there, everyone had already started to play. We joined them in the middle of the game. We played cricket and my team won. In the middle of the game, my mother forced me to have my breakfast. We had puri, sabzi and jelebi. We then made two teams. One team was of few dads and another team was with my friends. We played football. The game ended without any goal. After that I played a new game called ‘Housie’. I even won a ten rupees prize.
Then our dad’s began to lay the tables for our lunch. We had our lunch together. When our parents were having lunch, some of us clicked pictures of them and few served them. After lunch, as our parents were not allowing us to play cricket or football or badminton, we started playing hit the wicket. I was able to hit the wicket three times. Slowly it stated to get dark. We all said goodbye to each other and returned home.
This is the first time I went to such a picnic. I enjoyed it very much.

Purbayan Dey : Like an avarage Kolkatan he likes to spend his time by pandal hopping. Puja is a time when an avarage Kolkatan tries to enjoy his heart out. Specially after his half-yearly examination is over he is also going to have an nice time this year. He is a very hearty eater an likes to eat phuchkas.
He is also a student of class 9. This year he wants to enjoy the vacation speacially after his tests are over. He competes with himself every year about the number of pandals he has hopped. His count is 122 as he has watched all the four days of the puja. This year he hopes for something more.
like the above two energetic fellows he had discussed,he is in perfect contrast to them. He is a lazy fellow. After his examinations are over he said to Kidsunfold that I will spend the entire puja sleeping and eating. He fears that after this vacation he will be easily putting up 10 kilos.
Swarat Roy Chowdhury-
He is not a firm believer of this pujas and gods. And is a self centered human being (According to the inference made by the Kidsunfold team). He is a song lover and his favorite popstar is EMINEM.But despite of this he has decided to spent some time with his friends and enjoy his vacations.
He is a typical facebook-er who changes his profile picture at a duration at a duration of a few hours. But also he is a foody and likes to hop in the restaurants like Dominos KFC etc.But this puja he is also going to be the volunteer of his local puja pandal. So despite of his limited time he is going to enjoy his puja.
